Family Sessions
Natural photographs that preserve connection, growth, and the everyday moments that matter.
A community-service project by Summer Stone
Every childhood deserves to be remembered.
Free photography for children and families touched by foster care.
Born from my lived experience and my desire to give other children the memories I never had.
A simple local service in South Baldwin County built to support children and families touched by foster care.
Because photographs can become part of a child’s story, identity, and sense of belonging.
Why Fotos4Fosters began
I was in the foster care system until I was 11 years old, and I don’t have any photos of myself from birth through age 11.
Because I don’t have those memories to look back on, I started Fotos4Fosters—to help other foster children and families preserve the moments, faces, and stages of life that deserve to be remembered.
Every child deserves a story in pictures.
Who we serve
Sessions are available for children currently in foster care, children who were previously in foster care, adoptive families, and others whose lives have been shaped by the foster-care journey.

Natural photographs that preserve connection, growth, and the everyday moments that matter.

The little things can become the biggest memories. We want children to have photographs to look back on someday.

Senior portraits and meaningful life moments that deserve a place in the family story.
How it works
Each session is free and includes a private online gallery of professionally edited digital images. Families can download their photographs and print them anywhere they choose.
For children currently in foster care, we always respect privacy and permission requirements, and we never share photographs publicly without proper authorization.

More than a photograph
Fotos4Fosters exists to make sure more children have something real to look back on someday—the faces, the laughter, the milestones, and the people who were there.
Kind words from the families behind the memories
"Summer took our Foster Daughter's senior photos. It was a fun experience for her and we loved the images so much that we printed them to mail to friends and family instead of the formal invitations"
"Summer was so good with the boys! They are 2 years and 8 months, can be cranky and shy, but she worked her magic and got the sweetest photos! -Danielle K."
"Summer took photos of our fosters and then sweetly offered to take couples shots of us for our anniversary! -the K Family"
"She got a genuine smile out of all of us, we appreciate her so much! -S.N.H."
"She took my photos & made me feel special, even though it was a confusing time in my life, she has been in the same place & understood -R., currently in Foster care"
Because foster-family privacy comes first, I can only share a limited portfolio here. Follow Fotos4Fosters on Facebook or Instagram to see more of my work and stories from current and former families.

Whether you’re ready to request a free session or simply have a question, I’d love to hear from you.
Sessions are 15 minutes and are intended for the immediate family fostering or adopting a child. I’ll photograph everyone together and also make individual portraits of the foster/adoptive child.
